Be Free University is a financial education and self-help platform. We teach, and we give you tools to do things yourself. We are not attorneys, accountants, financial advisers or a credit repair company, and nothing we provide is professional advice. Before you make important financial, tax, credit or legal decisions, talk with a qualified professional, and have any legal document reviewed by an attorney licensed in your state.
1. Education only
All content from Be Free University, LLC (our website, mobile app, courses, workbooks, videos, live sessions, emails, text messages, social media posts, books, community posts, tools and AI assistants, and anything said by George M. Howard Jr. ("Financial Moses"), our staff, coaches or guests) is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, credit or legal advice, and it does not consider your complete financial situation. Using our Services does not create an attorney-client, adviser-client, fiduciary or any other professional relationship.
Be Free University is not a law firm, a CPA firm, a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, an insurance agency, a credit counseling agency or a credit repair organization. Where we mention investments, real estate, trading, cryptocurrency, taxes or insurance, we are teaching general concepts, not recommending any product or strategy for you. All investing involves risk, including the loss of money.
2. Credit Rocket: do-it-yourself credit tools
- Credit Rocket is educational software that helps you read your credit reports and prepare your own dispute letters. You choose what to dispute, and you review, sign and send every letter yourself.
- Be Free University does not contact credit bureaus, creditors or collectors for you, does not dispute anything on your behalf, and is not a credit repair organization.
- We do not promise that any item will be removed, corrected or updated, or that your credit score will change. Credit bureaus and creditors make their own decisions.
- Only dispute information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete. Disputing accurate information or making false statements can have legal consequences.
- You have the right to dispute inaccurate information directly with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion for free, and to get free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com.
3. Easy Estates: we are not attorneys
- Easy Estates provides self-help estate-planning forms and education. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney reviews your answers or your documents.
- Estate-planning laws, including signing, witness and notary requirements, differ by state and change over time. A document that is filled in or signed incorrectly may not be valid or may not do what you intend.
- Every document you create must be reviewed by an attorney licensed in your state before you sign it. This is especially important if you have children, a blended family, a business, real estate in more than one state, significant assets, special-needs beneficiaries, or tax concerns.
- You are responsible for choosing the right documents, and for signing, witnessing, notarizing, storing and updating them.
4. Calculators, plans and estimates
The Freedom Calculator, Freedom Score, Zero Debt Accelerator, Spending Tracker, Financial Freedom Statements, the $500 Find, Instant Income Increase and our other tools produce estimates and projections from the information you enter or connect. They rely on assumptions (such as interest rates, tax rules and your future payments) that may not hold. They can contain errors. They are not a guarantee and not a recommendation to take any action. Tax figures may not reflect current law or your situation; confirm tax changes, including W-4 changes, with a tax professional.
5. AI assistants
Lisa and our other AI features generate answers automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. They are not a person or a licensed professional. Do not rely on them for financial, legal, tax, medical or emergency decisions. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). In an emergency, call 911.
6. Results are not typical
Testimonials, success stories, case studies and examples (including numbers such as credit-score changes, debts paid off, money saved or income earned) describe the experiences of specific individuals. They are not typical, they are not guaranteed, and they are not a prediction of your results. Your results depend on your own circumstances, decisions, effort and factors outside our control. Many people who use our Services see smaller results or none. Some people featured may have received a free membership or other benefit; when that is the case we disclose it where the testimonial appears.
7. Faith-based content
Some of our teaching draws on biblical principles. It is offered as encouragement and perspective, not as a substitute for professional advice.
8. Third-party products and links
We may mention or link to products, services or websites run by others, and we may earn a commission from some of them. We disclose those relationships where they apply. We do not control and are not responsible for third parties, and a mention is not a guarantee.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own decisions and results. By using our Services, you agree that Be Free University is not liable for decisions you make based on our content or tools, as further described in our Terms of Service.
